I bought $40 petrol today at shell tempelton and didnt get a reciept breaking down the litres i got for $40, i noticed the pump price at $164.9 a litre for 95 octain and $159.9 for 91 octane, the display signs on the road displayed $159.9 for 95 octane with discount voucher of 4c a litre and $154.9 for 91 with discount voucher of 4c a litre, i then noticed the 5c difference between voucher price and pump price, if i used a voucher would i have paid 4c off pump price ($160.9) or the displayed voucher discount price($159.9) for my petrol.i hope the petrol station isn't charging 4c off pump price as that will mean people are paying 1c per litre than they think they are paying, the commerse commision has been given all this info today(1-10-2007). someone buying 100 litres may be paying $1 extra on their tank full if 4c is taken off pump price.
